Al Tuck is the greatest living Canadian singer/ songwriter in my books. I wouldn’t say he’s under-appreciated, I think anyone familiar with him and his music appreciates it, but everyone ought to know his songs.
Most played track on your iTunes:
According to iTunes top 25 most played, it’s “Hey Chicken” by Loose Fur.
Most cherished musical object:
My guitar I guess, it’s a 1979 Fender Musicmaster, but it keeps breaking so I might hate it soon.
Proudest moment:
Being on The Price Is Right and getting a dollar on the wheel.
Most vulnerable moment:
In an airplane.
If you could score a film for anyone, who would it be and why:
Werner Herzog. I think I could make some nice noises for his movies.
Your favourite use of a song in a film:
I always enjoyed the Coen brothers use of music in film, like in The Big Lebowski when the dude is flying through his psychedelic dream and Dylan is playing, or at the bowling alley with the Spanish Hotel California, the Coen bros are good at that.
Favourite venue to play in and why:
The Main Stage at Sappy, best festival, best times.

International Space Station- obvious reasons.
First band t-shirt you ever purchased from a merch table:
Probably the Monoxides or Eric’s trip at a Moncton show in the 90’s. Those all ages shows were huge for me.

Rod Stewart
Album you want to expose your kin to whilst in the womb:
Yellow House by Grizlzy Bear, i think it would be good womb music.
If for some reason you lost the ability to make and play music, what would fill that gap:
Probably cook food for people and charge them money for it.
What was your last dream about:
A chip eating contest where you have to guess the flavors while blindfolded. I was runner up, last flavor i couldn’t identify was hot dog.
