As the year comes to an end, and we begin our detox programs from our fatty Christmas dinners, and make new years resolutions we won’t keep, I thought I’d reflect back on some of the coolest Canadian tracks that made it to my ears this year. I get to hear a lot of records being on various juries like Polaris, Junos and Prism, and Southern Souls exposes me to a lot of artists I probably wouldn’t have heard otherwise, so hopefully you’ll find some gems here to ring in the new year to.
